About this opportunity
This is a plein air painting event and competition hosted by the Knoxville Museum of Art. Artists have the opportunity to paint outdoors at various scenic locations in Knoxville, with their works being judged for awards and available for sale. The event also includes a "La Petite Show" featuring smaller works and offers prize money.
Who can apply
- Registration is open to professional artists ages 21 and older.
- All applicants will be juried into the event by an independent juror based on submitted images.
- Winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place from the Friday night art show from the previous year will be automatically juried into the event.
- Five slots will be held for artists residing within a 100-mile radius of Knoxville.
