About this opportunity
Artists, designers, and researchers worldwide are invited to apply for the Textile Art Biennial BIEN 2027 in Slovenia, submitting textile-based works aligned with the 'Traces of Grace' theme. The opportunity includes an exhibition, with selected artists eligible for a fully funded residency in Kranj, Slovenia, and young artists under 29 eligible for residencies in Slovenia or Italy.
Who can apply
- Artists and artist collectives from around the world may participate by submitting 3 works that are no more than 3 years old.
- Only online submissions will be considered.
- Submitted works should be thematically aligned with the central theme, ‘Traces of Grace’, and should be primarily created in the medium of textiles or in a medium that references textiles through material, technique, or concept.
