About this opportunity
The 2027 Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair invites illustrators born before 31 December 2009 to submit five original artworks intended for children’s books. Entries must be submitted online by 31 October 2026, with a €25 fee (free for students with valid school codes). Selected finalists receive a free ticket to the fair and an opportunity to present their portfolios at the Portfolio Marathon.
Who can apply
- Illustrators of any nationality born before 31 December 2009 whose artwork is intended for use in children’s books.
- Students with a code from their art school/course are exempt from the €25 fee.
