About this opportunity
The 18th Adachi UKIYOE Award invites artists worldwide to design contemporary ukiyo-e, embracing the traditional role of the eshi. Grand Prize and Excellence Award winners will collaborate with the Adachi Institute's artisans to produce their designs as woodblock prints, receiving cash prizes and exhibition opportunities. This award seeks innovative approaches to the medium without restricting artistic genre or nationality.
