About this opportunity
The Festival Historias de Región is an international short film festival held annually in Cundinamarca, Colombia. It aims to promote regional and rural stories, with categories for fiction, documentary, animation, and regional narratives. The festival accepts films completed after January 1, 2024, and submissions must be in Spanish or subtitled in Spanish.
Who can apply
- The call for entries is open to productions filmed and shot in any technical format (digital, 35mm, 16mm, among others); participants must submit their works meeting minimum quality standards (Full HD, 4K), otherwise they will not be considered.
- Submitted works must be recorded, dubbed, or, failing that, subtitled in Spanish.
- Each filmmaker or collective may submit a maximum of two works in different categories; works do not need to be unpublished and may have previously won awards at other festivals.
- Audiovisual productions must have been completed after January 1, 2024.
