About this opportunity
Texas Tech University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Interior Design to join its Department of Design within the College of Health & Human Sciences. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and contributing to interdisciplinary initiatives through the new Design Village. Applicants must hold a terminal degree in interior design or related field and have experience in higher education teaching and scholarly activity.
Who can apply
- Applicants must have a terminal degree (Ph.D., MFA) in Interior Design or a related field by appointment time.
- At least one degree should be in interior design or architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include teaching experience in higher education, a strong record of scholarship and extramural funding, professional practice experience, NCIDQ exam eligibility, industry-standard software proficiency, and relevant certifications.
