About this opportunity
The Byrdcliffe Historic Cottage Residency offers artists a unique opportunity to live and work in a rustic, historic setting in Woodstock, NY. The residency provides individual cottages and access to campus events, with durations of 3 or 5 months. Artists of all disciplines are welcome, but must provide their own materials and arrange for utilities and transportation.
Who can apply
- Artists of all disciplines are welcome to apply.
- Certain cottages are better equipped for specific mediums.
- Artists are required to bring all tools, setup, materials, and mediums required of their practice with them.
- Artists are required to have cars or other source of transportation for the duration of their residency.
- All Historic Cottage Resident Artists are required to set up their own utilities (Propane, Electric, Wifi).
