About this opportunity
CoMA London Ensemble is seeking composers to join a year-long residency in 2027, where selected applicants will become active ensemble members, rehearse weekly, and premiere a new work at the December concert. The role requires instrumental proficiency and commitment to regular rehearsals, with mentorship from Music Director Lucia Švecová and feedback from experienced ensemble members.
Who can apply
- Applicants must be able to play a woodwind, brass, string or percussion instrument to a reasonable standard.
- Must be available for weekly Tuesday evening rehearsals at QMUL from 7-9.15pm during academic term-times starting 6 January 2026.
- Applicants must be able to attend at least 80% of rehearsals.
