About this opportunity
The European Media Art Platform (EMAP) offers a two-month production residency in 2027 for artists working in digital, media, robotic, and bio art, across 15 European host organizations. The program emphasizes collaboration, providing grants, a project budget, accommodation, and travel expenses for selected artists and their collaborating partners. Applicants from EU member states or eligible non-EU countries are invited to apply by November 6, 2026.
Who can apply
- Artists, artist duos, collectives, and other artistic collaborations.
- Must be residents or taxpayers of an EU member state, or of an eligible non-EU country under Creative Europe.
- Undergraduate and Master’s students are not eligible.
- PhD candidates and emerging artists of any age or academic background are welcome.
