About this opportunity
The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee is seeking experienced sculptors for an outdoor Holocaust Memorial and Education Center. This commission offers a budget of $100,000-$200,000 and requires artists to interpret Holocaust history and survivor stories through multi-disciplinary installations. The deadline for submissions is November 15, 2026.
Who can apply
- Eligible applicants will demonstrate a commitment to their art or design career through a body of work, exhibition, client portfolios, or other analogous professional activities.
- Must have experience with outdoor public art including familiarity with materials suitable for the Florida climate, or indicate members of the design team with this experience and credentials.
- Must demonstrate the ability to design and execute work of similar scale and excellent quality and deliver within fifteen months (maximum, preferably up to twelve) of receiving a contract.
