About this opportunity
Copenhagen Photo Festival 2027 invites photographers and lens-based artists worldwide to submit projects for its 'Frie hænder | Free Hands' theme. Selected artists will receive a solo exhibition in Copenhagen, an artist fee, and support for travel, accommodation, and food. This open call offers significant exposure and networking opportunities for those exploring artistic freedom and technology through photography.
Who can apply
- Open to artists and photographers worldwide.
- Project must relate to the “Free Hands” theme and not have been exhibited as a whole previously.
- Applicants must submit a biography, CV, project description, and at least 10 supporting images.
- Willingness to participate in festival activities and collaborate with the curatorial team is required.
- Applicants selected as a CPF solo artist within the last three years are advised to wait.
- Projects previously shortlisted by CPF will not be considered again.
