About this opportunity
The XXXIII International Gastronomic Journalism Award "Álvaro Cunqueiro" is organized by the Ayuntamiento de Lalín in collaboration with the University of Santiago and regional gastronomic associations. It awards €5,000 for outstanding periodistic and academic works on Galician and general gastronomy, with submissions open until November 30, 2026.
Who can apply
- Open to writers, journalists, and students of Journalism, Advertising, and Audiovisual Communication who have published work on Galician or general gastronomy in the last two years.
- Must not have won in the previous five editions.
- Works must be in Spanish, Galician, or another EU language.
