About this opportunity
CTM Festival, in collaboration with Deutschlandfunk Kultur and ORF, invites sound artists worldwide to create experimental sound works for the 'In Listening' project. Selected artists will receive a €6,000 commission and support to develop pieces for a live premiere at CTM 2027 Festival in Berlin and a radio broadcast. The open call seeks works exploring sound, noise, music, and listening processes, responding to the CTM 2027 theme 'Process…ing.'
Who can apply
- Open to artists worldwide.
- Applicants should work with experimental sound practices, audio art, or sound-focused experiences.
- Proposed works must use sound as the main medium.
- Projects should respond to the CTM 2027 theme “Process…ing” and consider both live festival presentation and radio broadcast formats.
- Collaborative projects are welcome.
