About this opportunity

Noorderlicht Biennale 2027 invites photographers and lens-based artists from all backgrounds to submit work under the theme 'PLAY!', exploring play as a political and imaginative act. Selected artists (around 75) will exhibit across Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe with financial support, production services, and international visibility. Submissions are open in three categories: existing work, adaptation, and new proposals.
