About this opportunity
Cambridge Public Library is seeking a full-time Assistant Curator to oversee exhibitions and manage their contemporary Canadian fibre art collection. Responsibilities include exhibition development, programming, collection care, and administrative support.
Who can apply
- Post-secondary degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Visual Arts;
- Two years prior gallery experience;
- One year experience with budgeting, funding requirements and granting agencies;
- One year previous experience with Collection management systems and graphic design software;
- Demonstrated knowledge of proper handling of artworks;
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with task-specific software (Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting software);
- A valid G Class driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle;
