About this opportunity
American Players Theatre is seeking an Artistic Director to set and fulfill the artistic vision and programming for the organization. The role involves managing staff, cultivating relationships, and upholding artistic standards while fostering an inclusive culture.
Who can apply
- The Artistic Director will first and foremost set and fulfill the artistic vision in keeping with APT’s mission and values.
- Specifically, they will lead season planning and all artistic programming, setting and upholding high artistic standards.
- They will directly manage 30 staff members, including directors, actors, designers, voice & text coaches and artistic administrators.
- They will also be a key artist, typically a director, though they could serve in another capacity based on their expertise.
