About this opportunity
The City of Duisburg, in collaboration with the Interessensgemeinschaft Duisburger Künstler, is offering a one-year residency scholarship for cultural professionals under 40 from across Germany. Selected artists will receive a free studio apartment, an additional apartment, a Deutschlandticket, a solo exhibition, and a publication. Applications are open for visual arts, photography, illustration, performance, and video art, with a deadline of August 31, 2026.
Who can apply
- Culturally active people who have completed their training/studies at least one year ago.
- For visual arts, photography, illustration, performance or video art.
- U40 cultural workers from all over Germany are invited.
