The German Literature Fund e.V. offers working grants for authors of high artistic quality. These grants aim to support professional German-speaking authors by providing financial support to focus on their literary work without economic pressure. Applications are accepted twice a year with deadlines on April 30th and October 31st.
Who can apply
- Antragsberechtigt beim Deutschen Literaturfonds sind deutschsprachige Autor*innen mit deutscher Staatsbürgerschaft oder mit erstem Wohnsitz in Deutschland.
- Bewerben können sich Autor*innen, die bereits mindestens eine von ihnen nicht selbst finanzierte eigenständige deutschsprachige literarische Publikation in einem anerkannten Verlag veröffentlicht haben.
