About this opportunity
The EU–Japan Fest mobility grants support individuals and organizations in developing collaborative arts and culture projects between Japan and European Capitals of Culture. Funding is available for travel related to research, project planning, and network building. Applications should be submitted at least six weeks prior to travel, with travel periods spanning April 2026 – September 2026 or October 2026 – March 2027.

- Members of European Capital of Culture teams, artists, project organisers, curators, designers, researchers in culture/arts, social entrepreneurs.
- Travel categories include Europe to Japan, Japan to Europe, within Europe, other regions to Japan, and other regions to Europe.
