About this opportunity
The Dramatists Guild Foundation offers "Bridge Grants" of $500 to theater writers in the US and US territories facing non-emergency challenges that distract from their creative practice. These grants are for those with less than $15,000 in their bank accounts and who have not previously received a Bridge Grant. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until December 14, 2026.
Who can apply
- Applicants must be theatre writers, 18 years or older, living and working in the U.S./U.S.
- Territories, with less than $15,000 in combined bank accounts, and must not have previously received a DGF Bridge Grant.
- Applicants must fulfill at least three of the following criteria: written two or more full-length works (at least 45 mins) in the U.S.
