- The winner of each season will be awarded 250 submissions to film festivals for free and will be selected for The Short of the Year. The grand prize is 1000 submissions to festivals for free.

About this opportunity
Short of the Year is an international film festival accepting fiction, animation, documentary, experimental short films, and music videos produced after January 1, 2023. The festival features four seasonal editions, with winners receiving festival submission packages.
Who can apply
- The festival is open to international filmmakers.
- Filmmakers may submit as many works as they wish to, as long as they have been produced after January 1, 2023.
- Festival is open to fiction, animation, documentary, experimental short films and music video with a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
- Entries must be submitted in English, Spanish subtitles are recommended though.
- Short of the Year will have four different editions: WINTER - SPRING - SUMMER - AUTUMN Every season 50 works will be selected.
