About this opportunity
The BAVC MediaMaker Fellowship supports documentary filmmakers using bold cinematic language and innovative impact strategies. This ten-month program offers a collaborative community space for filmmakers to workshop their projects, build relationships, and gain insights for career growth.
Who can apply
- Supports first- or second-time directors of feature-length documentaries nearing post-production.
- Must be the creative lead and applying as an individual.
- Projects must be non-commercial, primarily documentary or non-fiction, and have potential for social impact.
- Production should have begun, but a fine cut should not be expected before the end of the program year.
- Full-time students are not eligible.
