About this opportunity

The Grafenegg Festival invites composers worldwide to participate in a fully funded workshop led by Steve Reich and David Robertson, where selected applicants will compose and conduct a new 5–7-minute orchestral work with the Tonkünstler Orchestra at the Grafenegg Festival. The program includes two phases—April 2027 in New York City and August 2027 in Austria—with a world premiere performance on 26 August 2027.
