About this opportunity

The Re:Paris Prize, relaunched by Van Alen Institute in partnership with the Pan-African Biennale, invites architects and urban designers to propose transformative field research projects focused on reparative and regenerative urbanism in Africa and its diaspora. Winners receive a $35,000 travel fellowship to conduct international research and present findings at major events in 2027–2028.
