About this opportunity
VSP Vision is seeking a full-time Store Designer to create store layouts that optimize space and meet design guidelines. Responsibilities include creating preliminary and final floor plans, coordinating with internal teams and consultants, and managing projects to ensure design integrity and code compliance.
Who can apply
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years work experience in chain retail store design and/or CAD design.
- Ability to create, read, understand and interpret construction documents as well as architectural and engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of governing construction codes and accessibility design guidelines (ADA, ANSI, Title 24, etc.).
- Skilled in architectural design programs (Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
