The Portrait of Britain 2026 competition invites photographers worldwide to submit portraits taken in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) between October 2025 and November 2026. Winners will be exhibited on JCDecaux UK digital screens nationwide and featured in major publications like BBC, The Guardian, and Sky News. Entry requires a membership or £35 fee.
Who can apply
- Open to photographers of any nationality and experience, provided the portrait was taken in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) within the past year.
- BJP Members can submit up to 10 free images; non-members pay £35 per entry.
