About this opportunity
This is a full-time job for a Technical Supervisor in Uganda, focusing on overseeing local fabrication and outsourced production of custom furniture. The role involves translating designs into technical production packages, selecting suppliers, and ensuring quality control to meet deadlines, budgets, and specifications. No direct workshop management is required due to a 100% contract manufacturing model.
Who can apply
- National.
- Higher Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Wood Technology, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Fine Art, or a related technical manufacturing field, with 4–6 years of experience in contract manufacturing, quality control, or senior workshop supervision in the furniture sector.
- Regional supplier experience is preferred.
