About this opportunity
This program invites 3 artists to reside at the Social Inclusion Village for approximately one month to engage with local communities and create artwork inspired by social inclusion. Participants will receive studio space, accommodation, meals, basic art supplies, and travel support. The program seeks emerging artists aged 35 or younger who can communicate in Japanese or English and actively share their creative process.
Who can apply
- Age 35 or younger, able to communicate in Japanese or English, willing to actively share progress on social media, able to respect differences and live/work with others, able to manage personal needs independently, willing to submit a report on a rough plan and progress, willing to attend regular meetings, agree to donate works created during the residency to the social welfare corporation Lemon Kai for archival exhibition purposes, agree that copyright and ownership of works created during the residency belong to Lemon Kai.
