About this opportunity
The Jackman Humanities Institute at the University of Toronto is offering Distinguished Visiting Fellowships and Postdoctoral Fellowships for scholars in the humanities or qualitative social sciences. These fellowships provide $75,000 CAD plus benefits for a residency in Toronto from July 1, 2027, to June 30, 2028. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree earned between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2027, with the application deadline set for October 27, 2026.

- Doctoral candidates and graduates of the University of Toronto are eligible.
- The JHI Postdoctoral Fellowship is open to citizens of all countries.
- Not eligible if enrolled as a student or holding a tenure-track appointment.
