About this opportunity
Opera Australia is offering Cello Fellowships for early career musicians in 2027. This 12-month program provides professional skills, mentoring, and performance experience with the Opera Australia Orchestra. Applicants must be Australian/New Zealand citizens or residents, available full-time, and reside in Sydney.
Who can apply
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident;
- Must be available for the 12-month schedule of performance activity in its entirety between December 2026 and December 2027 inclusive;
- Must reside in Sydney on a full-time basis;
- 18 years or older by 1 December 2026;
- Have completed high school studies;
- Early career musician
