About this opportunity
Boston University School of Theatre is seeking an Assistant Professor of Lighting for a non-tenure track, full-time faculty position. The successful candidate will be an artist-educator with expertise in lighting design for the stage, capable of mentoring students across undergraduate and graduate programs. Preference will be given to applications received by November 15, 2026.
Who can apply
- MFA in Lighting Design or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong production experience, college-level teaching experience, experience with digital lighting workflows and automated systems, proficiency with industry software, commitment to inclusive pedagogy, and active professional networks are expected.
