About this opportunity

The International Short Film Week Regensburg, founded in 1994, is a nonprofit festival screening approximately 250 short films annually. It features four competitions: International, German, Architecture Film, and Regional, welcoming various film formats and themes. The festival aims to foster exchange between filmmakers and audiences in a relaxed atmosphere.

Who can apply

Only short films up to a maximum length of 30 minutes are accepted.
The year of production of the submitted film is 2025 or 2026.
Only one film submission per filmmaker/director is allowed.
Films submitted in previous years may not be submitted again.
Submission period is from 01 June to 31 October 2026 inclusive.
A submission fee will be charged for participation.
