About this opportunity

The National Gallery invites UK-based emerging creatives (within first five years of practice) to submit proposals for a digital artwork to be displayed on the Connected Canvas screens in the Sainsbury Wing entrance. Shortlisted applicants receive £500 and participate in an IdeasLab workshop; one selected artist or team will receive a £15,000 commission to create a work shown across six Friday evenings in April–June 2027.
