About this opportunity
The Jerwood Art Fund Commissions offer grants between £70,000 and £100,000 to museums and galleries in the UK to commission early to mid-career artists. The program aims to support artistic development, enrich public collections with new contemporary art, and engage audiences in the work of living artists. Successful commissions will result in works entering permanent collections of UK museums or galleries.
Who can apply
- Early to mid-career artists who are either based in or have a connection to the UK.
- Applications considered from public museums, galleries, historic houses, libraries and archives based in the UK or Channel Islands that are open for at least half the week for at least six months of the year and are at least provisionally accredited.
