About this opportunity
This is an internship opportunity with AMD for a Master's student in Silicon Design Engineering, based in Austin, TX. The intern will support new product bring-up, assist in debugging, develop diagnostic frameworks, and improve automation capabilities for a term spanning Fall 2027. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Electrical/Computer Engineering graduate programs with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Who can apply
- Currently enrolled in a United States based University in a Graduate program majoring in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Solid understanding of High-speed I/O design experience, including understanding of Tx (transceiver), Rx (Receiver), PLL (phase lock loop)/DLL, Clocking, Equalization techniques and circuits, Training algorithms and Firmware.
- Good teamwork and communication skills, strong analytical/problem solving, statistical analysis, attention to details, and able to work independently.
- Python and/or Perl programming.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux OS as well as Windows.
