About this opportunity
The Parrish Art Museum is seeking a Lead Preparator to oversee art handling, exhibition installation, and collection care across indoor and outdoor spaces. The role involves supervising preparator teams, coordinating with vendors, managing loan logistics, and ensuring adherence to museum standards for object safety and presentation.
Who can apply
- Minimum five years of demonstrated experience in museum art handling and exhibition installation, with progressively increasing responsibility.
- Experience supervising preparator staff, art handlers, or contracted crews.
- Familiarity with installing a broad range of mediums including painting, sculpture, works on paper, moving image, and sound.
